Coffee Canephora commonly known as Robusta Coffee, is a species of coffee that has its origin in central and western sub-saharan Africa. Robusta coffee represent 43% of global coffee production with Arabica Coffee constituting most of the remainder with the diffrences in beans of Robusta that tend to have lower acidity, more bitterness and less fruity flavor compared to Arabica. These coffee beans are used primarily in instant coffee, and espresso, and as a filler in ground coffee blends. Powerful flavor of Robusta can be desirable in a blend to give it perceived "strength" and "finish", noticeable in Italian coffee culture. Good quality Robusta beans are used in traditional Italian espresso blends, at about 10-15%, to provide a full-bodied tast and a better foam head (known as crema). It is also used as a stimulat, diuretic, antioxidant, and antipyretic, and relieves spasmodic asthma.
Planted in a well-known coffee producer area of West Lampung, Belalau Regency, our Robusta coffee is known for its distinct flavor of strong aromatic Robusta coffee. The beans are planted in an 10 hectares of plantation area and 1100 meters above sea level at the mountainside of Betung Mountain. This geographic location, climatic conditions and soil nutruents make up a unique taste of our Robusta coffee Lampung, We called this farm "Kopi Muson"
